Empowering NC's Vegetation Management Industry through knowledge and advocacy.
At the North Carolina Vegetation Management Association (NCVMA), we are dedicated to advancing the expertise of those passionate about vegetation management. Our commitment is to serve as a dynamic resource, enhancing the knowledge base of experienced professionals and newcomers alike. Through educational initiatives, workshops, and collaborative projects, we strive to equip our members with cutting-edge insights and practices that propel the field forward.
Recognizing that every vegetation manager plays a crucial role as an environmental steward, the NCVMA is committed to promoting sustainable practices that respect and protect our natural world. Our members are encouraged to consider environmental impacts in every decision, ensuring that vegetation management contributes positively to ecological balance and biodiversity. This approach underscores our responsibility to the environments we manage and the communities that rely on them.
The NCVMA is not just an association; it's a community that fosters open dialogue and the exchange of the latest, most accurate information in vegetation management. By providing the tools and knowledge needed to make informed decisions, we support our members in implementing integrated vegetation management practices effectively. As advocates for responsible management, we aim to balance societal needs with environmental preservation, fostering mutual respect and understanding among all stakeholders in North Carolina’s vegetation management landscape.
It is the mission of the North Carolina Vegetation Management Association (NCVMA) to act as a vehicle for furthering the knowledge of individuals who have expressed interest and have experience in the management of vegetation.
The NCVMA subscribes to the core belief that each vegetation manager is also an environmental caretaker and shall take environmental concerns into consideration when making vegetation management decisions.
The intent of this fellowship of vegetation managers is to collect, discuss and disseminate accurate and state-of-the-art information regarding vegetation management. The objective will be to provide these individuals the tools necessary to make prudent and knowledgeable decisions in managing vegetation.
The Association will be a strong advocate of integrated vegetation management practices. Many of the pleasures and benefits that our society enjoys require that certain degrees of vegetation management be met. The Association will foster mutual understanding and respect among those interested and engaged in vegetation management in North Carolina.
